The David and Sherrie Scholarship Fund was established in honor of David Pollard and the remarkable life he shared with his beloved wife of 55 years, Sherrie. Together, they modeled a life built on devotion, integrity, and a deep respect for honest work and personal responsibility.
About the scholarship fund
This scholarship is awarded to a Royse City High School graduate pursuing post-secondary education—whether through a four-year college, community college, or trade school. Because success is not one-size-fits-all, and every student deserves support as they build a meaningful future.
For some students, that future may be in a classroom. For others, it may be in a workshop, on a job site, or in a skilled trade that keeps our communities running.
No matter the path, this scholarship represents belief—belief in the student, belief in their work ethic, and belief that education in all its forms has value.
