I'm Jordan! I am a student pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Nelson University.

I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults on their journeys toward mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. With a holistic approach to counseling, I focus on the whole person, empowering clients to achieve meaningful growth with compassion and care. As a Christian, I integrate a biblical perspective with counseling theories and evidence-based techniques.

I work with clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, postpartum difficulties, major life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, boundary-setting, perfectionism, and stress management. I believe my purpose is to walk alongside clients through their greatest struggles, facilitating true healing and transformation. My goal is to see every client thrive!

Marriage and Family Therapy Intern
Supervised by Steve Light, MSMFT-S

Hey, I'm Kaitlyn Hammil! I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy through Abilene Christian University Online. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I have a huge heart for families and firmly believe that if you want to change the world, you must start in the home.

My background includes working with parents in crisis, offering education on topics such as child mental health, family communication, substance abuse, intimate partner violence, and internet safety. This experience sparked a strong desire to walk alongside individuals, couples, children, and families as they navigate life's challenges and work toward building healthier, more peaceful home environments.

As a Christian counseling student, I integrate Biblical truths with evidence-based therapeutic models to support holistic healing and spiritual growth. Whether you're facing marital conflict, parenting difficulties, mental health struggles, or a major life transition, my goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.

I'm honored to help carry your burdens, as we are called to do in Galatians 6:2, and I would be grateful to join you on your journey toward healing and hope.

Roger Dawson, LPC Intern
Licensed Professional Counselor Intern
Supervised by Courtney Jaeckle, LPC-S & Christal Mihalo, LPC-S

Hi, I'm Roger Dawson. I'm pursuing my master's in counseling at Ouachita Baptist University and am blessed to serve as a counseling intern at New Vine. I bring nearly 30 years of ministry experience walking with students, parents, and adults through the messy, painful, and most vulnerable parts of life. Those years have helped me develop a calm, steady presence that I bring into the counseling room.

I am drawn to helping people make sense of their stories, especially when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or hard to navigate. I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults, and strive to create a safe, restorative space where clients are honored, heard, and able to move toward healing and wholeness.

My approach integrates several evidence-based theories (CBT, IPNB, trauma-informed care, and narrative story work) with a gospel-centered understanding of how God meets us in our brokenness and leads us toward redemption, healing, and renewal. When clients desire it, I offer faith integration as part of the therapeutic process.

My wife, Jackie, and I have been part of the Hunt County community for nearly two decades now, and we have two adult children. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, whether on foot or bike, and using my creative talents to write, design, and create work that encourages others.
